I ran an Ex60-5 for 16 years......got be be my favourite of all the old machines I have owned. Also had an Ex120 and slightly harder to find ex100. Never had any smaller than the 60 as I was a bobcat fan on the smaller stuff.....although my little Kubota with its Engcon will be a very hard act to replace....if it either does!
It’s very hard not to rub the dipper on the little case. It’s been in some real tight places. And when trying to load the lorry or dump trailer ur always working at full stretch with the bucket curled in. So what ever is in the bucket always rubs the dipper. It’s also very hard not to hit the back. As the blade when raised up is only about an inch away from the counter weight. So if u’v any sort of muck build up on the blade when u raise it up it’s very very close to the paint work.![]()
I have don’t have any pictures at the minute. But I can get you some tomorrow. It was made origanly buy my father for a Volvo F86 then any time the lorry got upgraded the tipper body was moved over onto it. There was a firm over here in Northern Ireland who specialised in demountable tipper body’s called jac a box. Not sure if there still goin or not. But worth a goggle search. It’s definitely a lot beter than a 7 1/2 tonner. It can gross 18 ton so a comfortable load is around 10 tonsDon't suppose you've got any detailed pics of that demountable tipper?
Is it bought or made?
It looks a handier thing than a 7.5 ton tipper!
