Just knocked up a clevis and pin, and found a smaller ram with longer pipes to mount the grab to the E10. Geometry was easy to get right being that it's on a Wedgelock too. Pleasantly surprised how well it handles it- picks up three oak sleepers no bother. Very accurate and 'throws' stuff well. Tested it picking up and re-stacking a pile of straining posts in the yard. Will come in handy being about to run the grab on the micro for sure- lots of labour saving potential. For instance, on back garden tree take downs it can load 3ft diameter rounds onto the flatbed of the MuckTruck, and then rehandle them on the the tipper truck on the driveway. Clear up becomes a single man job.
Incidentally, the steel for the Bobcat boom is 6mm, compared with 3mm for the Hyundai! That's more like it. Although to be fair the gussets are more a aprt of the boom here, with it being so small- there's also plenty of metal in the Hyundai gussets.
Next job is to weld bosses rather than a fixed pin to the tilt hitch so that I can put it on the micro in place of the quick hitch.
