We used to fit a system called biorock with the tank and filter media in seperate tanks, had a vent from connecting pipe and similar could be a pita to get bang on.
If space allows we get units bolted together now with all connecting pipework already in place, most seem to offer a monoblock system now....what are you installing there ?

A vortex unit the second tank holds a pump which will pump to drainage field

Don’t know what tanks or how your installing them but usually inlet to outlet is different levels….? Or is it 2 parts of tank joined to make one?

Yes should be 2 to make 1 so no need for different levels, especially 2.5m in the ground

Managed to cut out the side plates and round the end corner off just need to bend them out to meet the s40 bracket width then grind disk to have a shamfer both sides

All the tanks I’ve put in have the pumped outlet in the last chamber.. obviously only any good for short pump runs, I guess you have a decent distance/height?

Not sure what type of plate is used to make the disks on the proper tarmac cutter
Mines mild steel and I used the old incarnation for turf cutting edges of roads

No it's not a big head just couldn't quite get the invert level over the distance, yes the pump is in the final chamber

Right pain that! I added a pumped outlet onto the last tank I installed after I’d put it in the ground… forgot to order pumped outlet from factory

Nearly made one with 2 discs on a 300mm bucket for e10. Didnt bother in end. Watched interesting video recently where someone cut turf with disc cutter, seemed to work well. Will try it next time .

Could you angle the wall back a few degrees?

I dont think leant back is what they want, the ground is very stable at the back, its only retaining the clean stone.....might have to see if we can come up with a method spanning across to sleepers, but that would mean a lot of load on the sleepers that took the spanned weight.

Clients come up with something that looks nice and we have to see if we can make it work....like architects, all their problems are theoretical.

Yep not a bad idea to cover myself but obviously id rather find a way to make sure it cant happen...we usually come up with something as the job approaches.

@6feetdown Yes its too big really ...i started it years ago for the 8t and its been in the way ever since, cut it down to 2m wide and splattered it back together, I wont use it enough to warrant spending any money on steel that I dont already have, going to have a look at the headstock setup so I get the angle right that was discussed previously, after that maybe a bit of plate to retain material at the front like they often do, then I can stand it up somewhere out of the way to get dusty.
@DaveDCB yes poss too lumpy, shes got some power the little wacker but we'll see.

mines at 30degrees but afew less to about 25deg would be spot on.

I had this one and it was too heavy, it’s now on a 8ton hitachi non kingpost machine and even that knows about it! Must of been built out of Irish lead soaked steel * must say it was ALOT better built than the Digbits one I’ve got now!
