Or I did spy a big tracked machine in the background dismantling planes, I assume they have a shear on them? £20 gets you a fair favour on a lunch break

A fine day out in Devon drizzle chasing water leaks on an old 70s alkathene supply. Maybe if the installer hadn't backfilled original trench with building rubble it wouldn't have split in the first place! Glad to get this one finished as been putting it off since before Xmas. Think we found 3 x BT, 2 x Fibre , 2 separate water supplies, 3 armoured cables and the 6inch water main and a fire hydrant and plastic to copper joints all in the first pit. Our supply was MDPE converting to copper running over the water main and then under the hydrant before converting to Alkathene somewhere. Bloody Nightmare. Not a bit of marker tape or pipe bedding or sand anywhere, all clay and stones the size of blocks. Nothing got struck which was a testimonial to the lads very patient digging. Customer was a proper watcher as well. Kept having to tell him to keep away as trying to get IN the tench with us. Grrr.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
either going to be a few finger nail clippings ...... or a handful of fingers .... not big enough to warrant an arm, let alone a leg too

£24 each. So £384 for all 16. Which seemed fking steep, so I dug out a rod of oilon and made them for £35 and an hour on the lathe.
Should be a better job than whatever plastic they use- just looks like nylon. I also took the grease nipple out so you can fit the waxoyl chassis hose inside the boom to properly lubricate it.
