And I thought it was marking an important margin to the field or something!!This farmer would never pay to do that properly. Drag the water pipe out the way to mow and then drag it back again afterwards![]()

In Mülheim-Kärlich in Germany, a remote-controlled excavator nibbles the top of a cooling tower before its demolition. The 162 meter high tower could not be destroyed for security reasons. A backhoe took care of reducing its size by nibbling the top bit by bit. Once 80 meters away, it could...www.linkedin.com

The moment one of the cooling towers at Fiddler's Ferry was blown down
DO you remember this remarkable moment? These pictures show Fiddler's Ferry Power Station in January 1984.www.warringtonguardian.co.uk
I might be wrong but I think one at Ferry Bridge also fell down in high wind."The wind sucked the air out of the tower and it collapsed in on itself."![]()
Just read about that - proper cock-up. 3 collapsed and the other 5 were damaged before they’d finished building the power station!!!!I might be wrong but I think one at Ferry Bridge also fell down in high wind.
Very very true, everyone I speak to thinks the same. Can't help feeling we'll feel a bit daft knocking all these power stations down oneday..![]()
Musings ..Very very true, everyone I speak to thinks the same.
Heads in the casting sand!Musings ..
Heads in sand can't be a better analogy.
What is it. A green car Park!Worse job of the year so far, what a hateful job. 300 staples in each 20mx2m roll, made up a tool with rare earth magnets to not have to bend down for everyone. Then used tarmacers heel/podger/tamper to drive them home. Had got sds max tamper in battery DEWALT but was too slow one switch blow with tamper did the trick.
2 of us did 14 rolls in a day so 560m2 ish felt it in shoulders and wrist that evening
Still got 30 rolls to go![]()

Overflow parking, grass matting to make it drivable when wet
