Are you liking the big takeuchi ?
Yeah, it’s mega! Very stable, really powerful, super smooth - it’s a great machine.
Turns out it is exactly the right size for lifting new ridge beams onto a bungalow we are converting too!

Awesome. I appreciate the weight of that critter 🫡🫡
Any pics of sawmill appreciated in due course 😊
Next time I’m up there I’ll get some pics.
It’s an ancient setup that came off a local estate - Chris has set it all up to run off 3 phase but he has to get it all spinning up off a donkey engine. It can cut 5 feet wide….

I can call this work as it was ‘networking’ which was much better than I expected!
Couldn’t see more than 10meters through the rain on the drive up, assumed it would have been a write off but ended up being mega day!
* clay pigeon shooting incase you couldn’t make it out in the photo!

Taking 4 days off work and out walking the South West Coast Path with the wife. Have avoided most of the rain so far. Rather annoyingly the erection team have decided to start on the shed erection this week while I’m away (don’t blame them for preferring me not being about!). Mother is sending me photo updates though :)

Is ‘your’ end the high roof or lower end?

Very nice. What stretch of the SWCP is that?

We are filling in the section between Paington and Bantham. Photos are all from between Dartmouth and Salcombe. Stunning scenery compared to North Devon / North East Cornwall but wouldn’t want the roads and the traffic 😟
