Archaeology, we do it for a lot of new developments/roads

They would have used a GPR unit at planning stage, and this field has been highlighted that something might be there.
We strip the field under their supervision and then demobilise from site and leave them to 'time team' it, document it and then it's all reinstated, sometimes it's left if they will be starting it soon if not backfill it all

Honestly never tried removing dye. Certainly doesn’t come out in the filters .

cat litter/oilsorb granules, by all accounts, is the way to go .... never tried it and you'd need a lot of it

Price difference isn’t as much as it use to be so it would have to be a LOT to make the hassle and risk and cost worth it. Probably cheaper just to chance it

Moved this piece of oak for a mate today - I reckon it’s over 5 tonnes. It made my big Takeuchi grunt loading it on to the trailer!
