Had 19 loads of stone into site over last few days, 1st load of concrete and this happens
More tractors and winches coming tomorrow, full load has set in her
She’s on a fair angle, I’d of probably risked it but it’s not my wagon!Daft question, but why not discharge load before it set in the drum?
Bottle jacks and sleepers jobs reet. That wanted jacking and cribbing, then discharging. Expensive cock up now.
Not sure, I’ve pulled one out before that drove in forward down a steep drive and couldn’t reverse. Packed up on another site early, rushed to yard to grab straps then onto stuck site, pulled him out, sent £200 invoice for my troubles - got a angry phone call from haulage company asking wtf I charged so much! Said it would be cheaper than a new drum and £800 of screed lostDo lorries not carry emergency chemicals to stop the set? Sugar was the old timers story.
Looking forward to stuck crane pics!!!
You would think that, god knows what they are thinkingI’m just happy to have a laugh and get paid well
digger sat all night helping to anchor it so surely that’s chargeable?

Too true, it is sometimes good to be a dispassionate observer rather than having skin in the game![]()

What was the drivers reasoning for a ditch visit? A deer run out infront of him?![]()
