Well afternoon wasn't as good as this morning
Got brother van serviced and dragged 55 in at half 3 for a 1000hrs service I am a good half way through uncle comes back from late lunch as he had been steam cleaning one of the lorry's for test on Friday to find fuel tank on lorry pissing diesel out at the bottom
Paint and rust must have been holding it in for a while and steam cleaner removed that during cleaning on outdoor pit
So now I'm rushing to put back on pilot filter and put bung in sump fill it up with oil so I can track out of workshop to lorry to suck a tank full into the digger then hand pump the rest of the 300l of diesel out into drums 🥵
Not long got in as had to finish service and load machine up ready for tomorrow
At least it is white. Imagine having to run a machine on white when we used to be allowed to use red!!

I didn’t buy it for this, but for the sake of a euro headstock, some welding and a hydraulic top link it’s brilliant for this on the slopes! Much quicker than the digger up and down and laughs at side slopes that would have the digger over.

Look to get through some graft you lads 💪
Feels like it at the moment got too much on, trying to carry the slack of the main contractor on big job but now they’re being tw@ts about money and declaring 2 days before 30 day invoice due they can’t pay for 20 more days! So told them we are walking off. Had to put this high capacity aco channel in with its back broken to match ground levels not ideal. Belle wacker now working f/r is cracking tool.

Other job we’ve got on removing cement strap pointing and repointing with lime mortar on this lovely Georgian house, as well as load of other bits and bobs and a barn to rebuild

Other job lime rendering another farm house on snake pass is progressing but slowly been to all 3 today just getting materials and sorting problems. Luckily all within 10 miles of each other.

Rendering job going slowly but getting there, render gun helping speed up the application on very wavy stone walls.

Had to strengthen this roof today which is spreading and pushing wall over, now we’ve held roof together can rebuild the back wall. Cows and a bull in field so bit of fencing for stone lads(farmers as well so they’ll be fine)
