Hi

I hope you're well.

We’re looking to carry out some building work later this year and would really value your expertise. Would you be able to provide a quote for the project?

If so, I’d be happy to send over our plans and drawings, which include a brief outline of the work we have in mind, ahead of our onsite meeting.

I’d appreciate your prompt response. Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Helen

Legit email on that name matches at a domain

No specifics no address or details

Seems dodgy to me haven’t replied to it
I get asked for price of 1t pebbles, they never put where to or more importantly which pebbles they want.

I'll bet if you look at all my replies to 90% are what exactly do you want and where to? Lots of people just forget/don't realise the 'actual' info you need to give them a price.

I had an email on Friday exactly word for word the same as that, except it was from a Kath. I thought it was genuine as a friend had just sold a house with planning permission to extend and said he’d pass my details on to the new buyer.

Just drop an email back asking for a phone number so you can call and discuss first

First thing that rings out to me is the UK Number on an Irish company.

Will they have any chance of getting that back?

he asked me how he would get the money back, sadly i had no awnser there is zero way.... its a transfer they made .

There is a lot of points that alert you to this being fraud but they looked past it thinking they were equally stealing machines cheap
