Thought Norway was pretty 'green' ??:unsure:

deep sea trawling (for fish)stirs up a lot of co2 per year (guardian),

Over the study period, 1996-2020, they estimated the total carbon dioxide released from trawling to the atmosphere to be 8.5 to 9.2bn tonnes. The scientists described trawling as “marine deforestation” that causes “irreparable harm” to the climate, society and wildlife.3 days ago

Don't know if it's just Norfolk or all conservation areas but have heard of small house builders going broke after buying building land and then stopped from building untill they buy credits

read an almost word for word article elsewhere last week .... quite how they arrive at these figures is pretty sketchy ... for example .. our fruit trees produce good crops with zero attention... no watering (spring anyway) no fertilising - nothing other than watch it grow and collect by hand. I VERY much doubt the same can be said for commercial orchards ... ditto our veggie boxes ..... constructed from 50 yr old sleepers and fertilised with composted garden/house waste ... plant and wait for it to grow, again watered by rain or our spring supply if needed
article is an utter load of agenda fed bollox
