I suppose if you're in construction you might get excited by this, I can understand that, but I don't. I see further than that, I look at the scenery in the background, the tons of peat dug out, habitat lost, the vast amount of material used to mount something which will be de-commissioned in a few years time.
I generally stay well away from this thread. A lot of it is politics and that is a subject banned from many social groups, the reason being that people tend to get very heated and fall out. I don't know how many of you have seen fists flying from actual politicians, but i've seen a few over the years on TV. One such bloke jailed this week for it.
This whole thread to me is a lot of very miserable hot air, it's just unpleasant, uneducated, biased nonsense which I don't want to be part of.

It's very depressing and pointless.
I wouldn't claim to know much about it, I just know that it's a massive topic and there is a lot more to it than meets the eye when you dig deep into it.
Personally I like to do something which has a point to it, but that's me, i'm a bit weird that way.
I did however feel that it was the place where people would be against these on land windfarms, that it would be a good place to bolster some support. Maybe some pertinent questions would be asked.
Perhaps someone would say that they were actually in favour of them and then tell us why.
No, sadly all it attracted was more negativity and moaning.
That doesn't ever get anything done, nor are they positive traits which anyone would want anything to do with.
So here you have a chance to stop complaining for 3 minutes and do something which could make a difference, yet all we get is excuses. That brings up feelings of sadness, resentment and anger for me.
I see my role in this campaign as spreading the word, that's all. I don't have the patience to persistently counter the usual incorrect reasoning and assumptions people make based on what they read on FB. I know a lot about it, far from everything though, there has been a lot to learn over the past year or so.
Some ignorant, selfish, local FB oaf recently claimed he wasn't going to oppose it because it wasn't in his front garden. It didn't matter that somethings taller than Blackpool tower were going to wreck the countryside near where he lived (and more). As long as he couldn't see it from his window it was ok, that was his reasoning.

Yes that's because I try hard to do that. I don't sit here and moan about everything and I have a lot I could moan about.
Would you say that to the posters on this thread?
You've never said that to me, so how would I know. I have no idea.
I do have much more to write in the same vain, we're months even years behind what has been going on here recently.
Maybe instead of almost inspire I could actually inspire
