I'm sure others must have seen it this morning on bff on fb but it seems using tractors to haul lowloaders around is old hat. And they have to find new routes such as a septic tank emptying service running on tractors and slurry tankers

We get a local lorry to shift our kit but sometimes you need to shift a couple of miles down the road or from one end of a site to another. We have the tractor anyway. Very handy!!!

Wonder what was in the trailer? Certainly no weight looking at the tyres..

Trouble is, at a guess it's empty and was hauling either Digestate or dung, which is a agricultural input and totally exempt from any need for O licenses provided the hauling contractor is also spreading the material.... equally if dung the farmer that has created it is well within there rights to transport it. As is either purchaser of the material provided they are the landowner.

It annoys me, because if the case goes to court it will be as watertight as a sieve and a good solicitor will piss all over the case.

If they stopped a few Dump trailers in selected places they could absolutely nail them.

….thus when the police get a huge bill, the cops who pulled him over and paraded it all over Twitter will get a bollocking and no longer pull Agri over for a while!
I’d like to know how they roadside tested the brakes were all operable on the trailer? Unless they literally had cables/pipes blatantly missing I doubt they’d have much idea?
