what sort of eaves height Vin -- won't get a duck in a 3.3m opening height  or much else for that matter ..... "insulated" is where a lot of the cost'll be .... no barn builders/steel frame-ers 'round you?
I guessed the height for roller door til I got a chance for a measure up . I got it into a steading we rented with an opening around 3.5m but I need to confirm that though . I will Measure up properly before I press the button . I need to keep an eye on the ridge height as I can’t go higher than the house . I might look into other options like a sliding door as I think they can go higher as no need for the roll above the opening.

but then need to support the upper track on something, as above building line

You want a overhead sectional door on it, will give you a higher opening then.. just don’t smash the boom on it when your side the shed and the doors open 🤯

That sounds good Dave , I could put that in the gable where bigger plant would come in and fit a 3.0m electric in the other end for more regular use

I checked in with the supplier and they reckon it won’t work as it still doesn’t give enough height and they don’t offer it 🤬 looks like I will just have to accecpt higher eaves height to accomodate door height .
Also budget gone out the window ! I need to get the cost down so I can’t go for insulated . Looks like it’ll need to be non insulated and anti con roof sheets .
Anyone retro insulated one ? I’m wondering if I can insulate it in time if I buy it without just now

I figured that if I didn’t spunk out on an insulated roof then I’d always regret it. Walls you can come back to and do later much more easily .
Now I have no money AND no walls 🤣

I’d definitely put an insulated roof on if nothing else. Even my insulated roof has condensated after a prolonged cold spell when temps rose relatively quickly. It’s dear but ultimately cheaper than doing it twice…

Can you do a leanto type / single pitch roof? At least you could run the front eaves up to the ridge height of your house then?

If it’s next to your house just take the side off it, you won’t need your house anymore once you have a nice insulated shed to live in 😂

I would highly recommend Metal Garage Ltd for this type of project. They are a reputable company known for delivering high-quality metal structures at competitive prices. For a warehouse of around 18 x 35 x 4.5 meters with three large doors, Metal Garage Ltd would be an excellent choice. Their team has the experience and professionalism to ensure a durable, cost-effective, and well-executed build.
Ok then @Metal Garage Ltd - please can you give a price for the aforementioned structure?
