Hello I'm looking for a about 600m² steel warehouse with sandwich panels.

A simple warehouse about 18 x 35 x 4.5 meters with 3 big doors to storage machinery.

Searching in the web and from china there are several possibilities with good price but it's from china 😅

So I'm looking for some factory in europe preferably.
It's possible to buy in a auction to...

I will share the quote I have from china:

Biggest mistake I made, wish I had insulated mine from the off!
Got change of use to commercial so need to rip it to bits and add insulation! 😔

Hello. I have seen numerous "steel building kits" at what look to be incredible prices. I know they are not complete kits as priced (doors, insulation, foundation, etc.) I can get quotes, or rough ideas, easily enough from friends that do concrete. I know what the electrical will cost, roughly. I do not know what the "missing" parts of the kits will cost. I am hesitant to talk to the building suppliers at this point. I do not feel like hearing from salesmen 12 times a day, nor do I want to believe them. I put my info on one website and checked a box that I did not want to be contacted (it was to get a brochure) by a sales person. This did not stop them from calling me 9 times in 3 days, all at inopportune times. For a point of reference I am looking at around 4000 sq ft 14 foot side walls.

TBF eBay usually gives a good idea of the actual cost of materials.

I am hopefully getting to put my own up next year. Its Agri storage spec but would love to upgrade the workshop end to Insulated panels on the roof at least.... Some increase per Sqm though.. :-(

Do all of it! I’d never put another one up again with out at least getting the roof insulated. I parked everything in it one night, came back the next day and it was literally raining inside, condensation was pouring off the roof!
That was concrete fibre sheets too!
I stupidly put steel sheets on my workshop at home and that was even worse, had to add foil insulation on the underside, which actually works very well now.

The farm I worked for bought a whole cold store out of a warehouse off eBay for not a lot. the panels where 6m high 100mm thick kingspan each panel completely clad in aluminium with tongue and groove joints. Built a hole load of rooms inside barns all over the farm with them.

This kind of thing.

They are strong money second hand, how much are new panels now?!

I worked for Colsec in Droitwitch for a while. We used to fit chiller and freezer rooms and would regularly take down old rooms and skip. My dad ended up with one we ripped out of Harry Ramsdens in Exeter Services. Served as his game larder for many years. If you want cheap panels make friends with the fitters!

I got quoted 20k to do my shed roof in 100mm … 18m x 14m, plus instal 🥵
That is almost exactly the area I want to do. 45foot x 60 foot. 80mm would be fine. I think the concrete sheets work out at about 10 per sq metre.. so that saves a bit. About the same price as a decent used KX61-3 with attachments :-(

Just found the invoice for mine from 2020 - 24mx15m (only 40mm insulation though) was just under £10k plus vat for the roof panels and all flashings/fixings (plus fitting).

when they call say " I will just get him for you now " and put the phone down somewhere, so they can listen to the background noises ... they'll soon get fed up of sitting holding on waiting for you to come to the phone :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Given that I do heat loss calculations on a near daily basis I need to sit down and work out the cost benefit ratio of 40mm vs 100mm PIR sheets. I really want to do it as I will only get one chance at the roof. Walls can be done later / Adhoc / second hand / etc easy enough.
