I don’t mind paying to park, i begrudge when it’s a pokey setup where you’re packed in and the people who don’t give a toss open their door straight onto your car or slide down with bags etc. Occasionally I park in the “worlds safest carpark” in Derby. I don’t mind paying a bit more to have decent sized bays, individual bay security and access controlled doors.

If I've to go anywhere like that I take my old shitter, I don't care if anyone smacks a door into it, I don't care if I reverse it into a bollard with it.

It's literally the best feeling knowing you can walk away from it and laugh if you come back and the bumper corner has been pulled off.

I won't take anything I care about to such places...downside been the shitter gets more use than anything nice I own.

I used to have an old 1.9D berlingo van that was used like that, but as you say it ends up that the nice things rarely get used then. I’ve just bought a Citroen C1 that might end up being a new shitter

This guy put out a new video this week trying to set the record a bit straight. He didn't go into the exact details but did admit a few shortcomings. Was interesting I watched that last ashville weekly 250 then the latest video. I was always a bit suspicious how a guy who seemed so obviously busy could be doing documentary style videos for aggregate industries. I had stopped watching 2 or 3 years ago as all got a bit samey. Some of his purchases jesus christ a train carriage for a reception ‍♂ who did he think he was adolf?! He admitted his shortcomings, let content creation overtake running the biz, got to stuck in the weeds of day to day not looking at the bigger picture. Reckons he hasn't run away from his debts and is here fulfilling his obligations. But he does have a build coming up in St Lucia. He is bringing the weekly shows back soon but they will be 8 weeks delayed to reduce the time pressure on releases. I'm torn he seems a genuine guy sometimes so in that sense I wish him well.

Sounds like he signed up to some bad deals. I'd be wary of investing loads in a premises if they can hike the rent. Sounds like he was locked in too. Even in that new yard he was spending money like water

I don’t pretend to understand the running of big businesses and multiple Ltd companies. They always on the surface look successful and have fingers in every pie, then they’re the hard done to ones when eventually they get found out running on other peoples money. I’m sure he won’t have lost everything, probably allready has another company set up to jump ship to.
