End of the week saw some workshop stuff and hedge cutting at the H/A
Time to strip down the old pole chainsaw/hedge cutter come in handy.
It was pissing out fuel and sucking air.....
....usual thing where modern petrol had turned the fuel pipes to plastercine and the grommet was leaking
All replaced with nice new ones made from Polyvinyl Chloride - supplied in a nice selection box by Amazon.
Nice new grommet changed and bingo!
Perfect - fired up quickly and not leaking any more
This is my overgrown conifer hedge . My barn on the left and neighbours horse stables on the right.
My chainlink fence is actually in the middle of what you see here!
Neighbour said about 10 years ago, "Don't worry about my side, I'll keep it trimmed back"
WTF - it is now about 3 feet over and through the chain link fence
So me and Ryan gave it a serious top haircut.
Next week we are going round to do his side of my hedge.
Was gonna use the dumper to take back to my bonfire site.....
...."Can you use a wheelbarrow because the ground is damp!"
R - "Going to take us a long time to do that then!"
So guess what we will be doing next week - think I'll cut it right back and all he'll see is brown tish
