Don't complain - suggest what's better
I think they can be run from a power pack, so used in a basement for example, with zero emissions in the work zone.
That is a good idea. Much easier than trying to extract the fumes from indoors.

One of those semi hitches?

How many hours it done. Or could it be a reusing the hitch off an older machine.
Yea it's a Brian Scott semi hitch. It seems to be original to the machine, the hitch and buckets all seem to be in a similar condition so i dont think its an old hitch. Think there is around 1200 hours on it

Pin is flush with the hitch

Bolts are where they should be. Maybe just cheap metal?
Could be, i think some hitch manufacturers cut corners on certain areas especially with the smaller end of the market. Probably think that because the pin doesn't turn it won't wear or at least by the time it does it'll be long enough no one will care.

"Handy" one started on Monday, 50 posts to go around a garden in below trees, absolute nightmare with routes and not wanting to damage the existing tree branches

Had wee brother labouring, told him he had to wear a hi viz and hard hat and he fell for it 😂
Starting to branch into doing extensions etc for myself so this is a start 👌

18" wide substructure is a bit of an extravagance Thomas. Blocks are getting expensive you know. I assume they're Robinsons if you're in Ballygally. They're certainly not the lightweight Thermalite crap, you'll be crippling yon labourer, wee brother won't want to be coming back.

What's happening with the drainage services in the subfloor, are you fitting a sealed manhole lid? Make sure your manhole is airtight. If its an old one and block built, make sure the inside is rendered. Dealing with foul sewer smells in an enclosed space is not fun.

What architect and client wanted, im not gonna argue. Theyre actually Northstone, concrete and mortar from them too.

The manhole is outside the building, had the lid off to make sure no stones etc had gotten in, lid is just sitting there

Had took a lot of photos of a few jobs, planned to upload them here, but dropped my phone and ended up losing all photos 🤦‍♂️☹️ so here's all I've got from the last month or so
Knocking a byre down so it can be rebuilt with a cavity block wall and faced with the original stone

Digging foundations in Dundonald, filled ground, 8ft deep. All going well until it started to fall in

Ripped down and old extension for a new one to go on, EZ26 is a beast on a breaker compared to what the EX30 was like
