I’ve seen several timber sheds that have steel stanchion bases in the ground, then plate up either side of the timber , bolts clamping it. Works well, keeps timber off the ground and away from rot. Slightly taller versions could be used to get a little more headroom if needed.

Couple disc cutters i've gained, and the dumper with new decals.

we have switched to the electric husqvarna on site, takes water, 350mm blade/125mm cut. Light and no noise and stink.

I actually have a standing offer from a husky dealer to sell me the cordless disc cutter, chainsaw and a blower at practically cost (favours).... Trouble is charging it, and likewise keeping them charged when not in use.... Mains electric is no good for me. Means lumping the genny round.

I can go weeks without needing a saw, then need a reliable one there and then. Theory is the Air one will go with the compressor, hydraulic one with the mini digger.... problem solved for just over £100

Meanwhile I've just ordered some more pull cord for the old ts400. Snapped the other day I'm down to about an 8" pull lol

That's not the cordless one... that's a big 3 phase bastard.

The "cheap" little 9" cordless is around £500 with two batteries, Very very capable.

Thing is with the cordless and 110v husky they both cost the same as the petrol and weak as pi** in comparison.

Rory,
Just watch the air saw if you don’t use it very often.

The oil inside the motor dries out and ‘glues’ the vanes in their slots so the motor does not make any power.

Sometimes a glut of diesel down the air inlet frees it up. Other times it’s a strip down job to free them up.

always liked the look of those, cant find a reason or need for one but would very much like one none the less.
