Yeh, that’s what I was taking about, but all the drill bits where enclosed in a housing similar to your first pic which moved up and down the line, it was also set up so that if for any reason someone broke a beam which went round everything when working, it would automatically stop.

It's around the magical 20tph mark with a mini pulling out underneath. Got a belt lined up for it to fit later in the year. Want's a few refinements but I'm pleased with it.

Roof tiles and concrete it's at 20mm atm and i'll widen the jaws to 40mm for most work.... she eats concrete but does'nt like quartz!

No feed conveyor, over complication IMHO, just the slowly sloped hopper so it's got gradual but constant feed./

Strangely no. it's quite happy.
