Now till 11 is the worst for us few trees have come down around Cornwall

Now till 11 is the worst for us few trees have come down around Cornwall
been getting stronger here the last half hour, but have seen it worse .... stuck a second ratchet on the poly, in case, as it's 'inflating' :oops: wind is in just the right direction to catch the vents .... media are having a feeding frenzy with the "danger to life" quote

Don't complain - suggest what's better
122mph gust in the Isle of Wight, which is pretty near me. Blew the foam off my coffee walking from the house to my office, so things pretty bad here!

It is a bit blustery here, I can see two neighbours houses with ridge tiles off. Bizarrely my two that are not on mortar are still there.
There is a camera on the the needles on youtube with a live feed, looks like sea spray is blowing up the cliff and thats a big cliff.

Wind is getting stronger here and it is just starting to rain. Local FB pages are saying the flooding risk is now dropping as the worst of the tide has peaked.

Fairly bad in Wiltshire, can hear my roof tiles rattling a bit which it slightly concerning. Still not as bad as they said, I was expecting the four horsemen of the apocalypse to come riding through after looking at the papers and listening to the radio.

Little gen set fired up so basics are now running. SWMBO is happy now the oil heating is running :love:
