That's on holiday elsewhere...A job for the mighty 216?!
4 1/2 inches?Or 11.3cm to the youth, if they can discern the smaller marks.
So they could land a plane but not pull 2tonne steps up to the plane ?Flew back in from Portugal last night. We got warnings from easyjet all day to say weather might cause delays.
Got to the airport and the flight was 30 mins behind, fair enough can live with that.
Good flight till we got to belfast, Roughest i've ever felt it, but the pilot was good and got us down safely. That's when the problem started. We sat on the plane for over 4 hours because they wouldn't put the steps up to the plane
Sat there on the stand with the wind blowing the plane around like bad turbulence, for over 4 hours
The ground staff said it was ok, the easyjet staff said it was ok but belfast international said no
We where second on the list, there was 8 planes behind us, we landed at 12.40am and I was in the car at 4am.. that's after the hour change.
People didn't get of til after 6am and then had a 2 hour wait on baggage.. glad we only had hand luggage
Didn't happen , managed to watch it on iPad . Power out for 3 days . 65mph gusts , infrastructure is like a house of cards . I need to get self sufficient . Diesel generato back up will be stage 1 . Then need to look into battery storage and solar /hydro optionsPower out up here now, wasn’t that bad either. Wind gusts at 65mph .
Hoping to get it back on before the USA Grand Prix![]()
saw some big container sized generators on the way to places like Skye etc on one of the tucking pages get power back onDidn't happen , managed to watch it on iPad . Yep exactly, then by the time we did get off the wind was blowing harder than when we landedSo they could land a plane but not pull 2tonne steps up to the plane ?
Yea.. someone up the chain wouldn't let it happen according to the pilotUnionised bullshit probably…
Lazy coontos definitely!
if the steps touch the plane it is an unbelievably big deal. It will go out as an alert to all staff in the airport and has to be investigated plus engineers attend the aircraft. So they could land a plane but not pull 2tonne steps up to the plane ?
