It's hard to know because Helston which is right in the middle of the red warning is only 65mph winds which is the same as we have been told for up here yet we only have a Yellow warning!

Don't want the Cornish getting one up on us! Although St Marys is nearly 100mph winds!

Dunno but seems the ones they make the most hype about are never that bad...it's the sneaky ones that always get us 😏

snowing in some order here ATM, but huge wet flakes onto very wet ground - been raining here since 11 ... what we had the other day was real powder onto very dry ground -- if it sticks anywhere it'll be unlikely to last

Forecast was saying 5-10cm of snow here but can't see that happening with all this rain landing beforehand

Why don't you like the snow?

Given the choice snow or rain. Definitely the former at least the carnage it causes is entertaining
hate trudging about in it - tracking it in everywhere - the clear up is hard work - getting out of here with any significant falls is difficult - very few ppl these days have any real experience of driving in it and drive like pr*cks

bet the carnage going on around here'll be significant up the valleys -- we're 800 ft roughly ... they're 12-1500 ft
