The last 4 weeks have been the driest autumn I can recall In a long while. It's been better than summer tbh. Looks like it's turning at the weekend though

We had a site that was under 6in of water 2 months ago. Pumps running constantly moving water around to try and do anything.
They have spent the last week running a 9t dumper across the site and it hasn't fitted at all. No mud stuck to boots or anything. Absolute perfect conditions.
Meant to chuck it down Sunday.

See you have got a few of those plane trails (will not call them cemtrails or I will be called a conspiracy theorist) we had so many this morning it started very sunny then went misty , by 12 it then turn to overcast ,by 2 it it had gone thick overcast and bloody cold so same as the last 2 weeks but now turn very cold

Heavy sleet since about 7, not settling but turned the garden to crap.

been lashing it down all day - everything's sodden again 'least I got (hopefully) the last cut on the grass last Wed.s .. was NOT gonna get any drier than it was and the Dane beside the drive was like Tokyo Drift in places (most of 'em)

started yesterday here and had a good 15mm overnight - not stopped all day and still 'persisting' down and 'sposed to turn white about 6 am ... then keep coming down 'til 3 or 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with a Northerly just to keep it cool
hopefully they've ****ed up their sea weed again

washed half an inch off the Kia with the hose at 07.30 to go take the girls to school in town at 08.30 ....
nothing in Aber - got about an inch where it's laying here by the time i got back at 09.00 and coming down well ...
powdery sugar snow ...
might have a BIT if it keeps up 'til 15.00 as forecast ..
no sign of it stopping and no real wind as such to blow it away either.
hope it sods off as quick as it came - out with Russ in the morning

started at 6 as forecast. stopped at 3 - good old Yr.No was bang on as usual ... got circa 35mm on the polytunnel, which is always the best gauge of the white stuff - settles and just sits ...
would've been a lot more if it'd continued as it was at 09.00 with the dry powdery stuff, but turned wet and big by 10 .....
still too much of it for my 'liking' though

Saturday however looks 'kin horrendous
