assume it's pissing down 'round the country, with so many people on line ATM ...... wet overnight, but dry - just, here  ......... was a glorious autumn day yesterday
Dry as a bone here, I was online while sat waiting for my good friend to make his last journey. He was a superstar and the turn out showed it. He will be missed greatly in the tool hire industry.

Yesterday was lovely, T-shirt weather even up here. Blowing a ****ing gale today though, just for a change :ROFLMAO:
I think the latch on the sunroof rusty metal roof flap on me digger rotted away years ago, whenever I managed to open the door today the wind blew the flap open where it stuck 😅 It was a North Easterly which is rarer too.
About a week ago we had 6" of rain from Friday to Friday which set all the dried up springs, land drains and becks flowing for the first time since June. That's died down, but is still flowing.
This has been useful to see what i've fixed or not so i'm out there doing a bit. Rain forecast for tonight, but so far it's been a no-show. Weather forecast is as useless as ever.

What were you doing?

Nowt but rain all day to day here, 30+ mm forecast.
dunno, but a nice looking back fill blade on Frank's dipper
Digging the coupling hole between suction pipes and collector pipes for drainage of farmers fields

The back fill blade saves a lot of time, 4-5 minutes filling the connector Hole's with the grading Bucket ass with the Blade It takes 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 minutes
On a earlier project i dog up and backfield 720 holes during 23 Days, Without the blade, Would I use 36 hours/5 days more on the backfieling alone.
