I'm guessing I'm not alone sat picking through the calander looking for the jobs we might be able to do in this shite to get some money coming back in this January, times like this when I'm happy to be more or less a one man band.
Wtf are you guys with a few men on finding to do ?

Firm I work for has about 15 people on pure groundworks then same again onwou local authority contracting. No one can remember being told to stay at home and I can only remember once going home at lunch as everyone was soaked and no welfare on site. We just plow on making untold mess. I think my boss must be wired differently as I think most people would cry.

Just been thinking the same. Actually dry here for the 1st time in days

forecast said a relatively blue sky day for us ...... been pissed on three times so far this morning - proper wet ...... 'sposed to be dry tomorrow too .... not holding out much hope based on todays not so accurate predictions

Absolutely shite today. Tucked inside and warm thankfully. Feel for anyone out in it.

Its percistantly precipitated here all day so far on Penrith, Cumbria (it's not called the Lake District for nothing ! ) . Getting fed up with it now , it's been wet at some point almost every day for a month now and not much sign of it improving . The ground is just waterlogged everywhere ! I'm supposed to be doing paperwork but just cant get into it, I couldn't work in an office that's for sure

Its percistantly precipitated here all day so far on Penrith, Cumbria (it's not called the Lake District for nothing ! ) . Getting fed up with it now , it's been wet at some point almost every day for a month now and not much sign of it improving . The ground is just waterlogged everywhere ! I'm supposed to be doing paperwork but just cant get into it, I couldn't work in an office that's for sure

I'm just South of you near Colne, it's the West that is copping for this lot, as usual

Roadworks outside the school in the road was like turning the telly on teacher might as have given up

same again here .... dry first thing after a torrential night then back to lashing down and blowing hard from WSW, by 10.00 with a lot more to come ...
as I said elsewhere, makes you feel like hibernating ...
put your nose out the door and you're soaked.
Pity anyone trying to do anything/make a living in this shite, if outside in it
Sunday afternoon/Mon./Tues./Wed., looking much better and a lot calmer next week
