Yesterday and last night the worst here no trees down or any of that bother but the run for the hens blew away and knocked the wing mirror off me van and put a gouge in the side door

first time in days it ain't blowing a hooley out there now ..... dropped about half an hour ago ..... just put 3" back in the fish pond .... put 2" in it at eight and again at ten this morning

been getting stronger here the last half hour, but have seen it worse .... stuck a second ratchet on the poly, in case, as it's 'inflating' wind is in just the right direction to catch the vents .... media are having a feeding frenzy with the "danger to life" quote

glad I did ..... been bloody wild here today - AGAIN!! would've been gone for sure with the last couple of days hooleys .... forecast is getting quieter, but still pretty blowy

been a quiet night 'til about 5 when it started again ..... got a funeral to go to in an hour and it's getting wild again ... no idea WTF to wear ... umbrellas are gonna be out of the question ... could do with full wets and wellies, but ain't gonna look the best and not up for getting drowned in a suit and great coat

sun came out at 12.15 and has been a beautiful, but windy afternoon ... send off went well ... spent several days last week pulling the eulogy together, composing and punctuating it, for the vicar to deliver, (who could've done it a little more justice, if he'd read it a couple of times first - wished I'd done it after ). Even at 20 font and double spaced (as requested) he slaughtered it. .... back home, knackered after a busy wake ... go lock some chickens up and collapse in a heap.
