been getting wilder here as the evening's worn on - dry but pretty epic W S westerly :(

talking to a fireman I know earlier, when I went to fetch Clara ... everyone has been put on standby 'til Tuesday, starting lunchtime today ... he said the wind (and rain) is supposed to be pretty severe (enough to put them on a 4 day alert anyway):oops:

so was it still where you left it ?

been out and put some guy lines on a 6ft high fence this morning that sits bang square on to tonight's forecast 70-80mph winds ... bloody thing is sat on top of a 5ft x 9" hollows, retainer wall (I didn't build) 🤞🤞🤞

Fair breeze now 😬 noticed tomorrow when it's supposed to get a little breezier it totally changes direction. NNW might be fun.

starting to kick off here again ATM
taking no chances on this bloody fence .... the swing is nailed to the planet with 2 ft nails and heavy ... the trees are even better attached ... every little's gonna help when that gets 'assaulted' later tonight/early tomorrow

With rare red warnings issued it looks like you're going to take a real hammering so best of luck (y) That polytunnels gonna get a proper test

polytunnel is starting to show it's age, covering wise .. the one end has rubbed through in places on the framework ... might be time for a new 'skin' after tonight :oops: ... hopefully the base frame'll be heavy enough to keep it in situ though
