Clearing leaves is like clearing snow. If you leave them they vanish anyway.
unfortunately the shape of my patch, they all accumulate around the edges and under all sorts - it's a 'bowl' -- If I don't deal with them they sit and rot into a mulch
cleared the dumpy stuffed full off the lawn, so I could mow the bloody grass one last time, this year ... couldn't see half of it for leaves

Lucky sod if you can get that!
Part way there. Our stores are heated and the main yard space is semi insulated. The new shed will be insulated, but probably going to be 60 before I get to use it myself. Will struggle on with our 60+ year old chicken shed for now.

and it's only just stopped raining - give it 12-24hrs for it all to come down stream -- all within 8-10 miles of Aber ... bet it's carnage just about everywhere -- the one below 👇 👇 always floods - it's a main road !!

this did exactly the same last time we had heavy rain .... bottom of A465 into Aber from ours ... sodding gert stream coming into a tiny pipe .. Needs at least half a dozen to cope, but then there's nowhere at the bottom for the water to go !!

Usually we have a month or 2 of odds and sods to mix in with the bigger stuff that's more weather dependent, at the moment we only have a couple of weeks of bits, hope its not too wet and drawn out this winter.

That's kind of how I like to hobble through winter. Big jobs over the spring and summer. Odd little jobs in the winter that's easy to fit around weather windows.
