Plant trailer choices.

It’s an utter dream to move a digger with compared to a flatbed however.

And I spend a LOT of time moving diggers!
Your absolutely right but today I was using the flat bed to move digger, then dumper then the roller! and takes about 4 mins to deploy prop stands which I guess in the grand scheme of things isn't the end of the world! If I only was allowed one trailer I suppose it would be a flatbed though for versatility.

There's something very satisfying about using a trailer for all sorts of different tasks. Plant trailer is nice but one trick pony more or less
Talking of one trick pony’s, I always fancy one of these .

My 12 foot tipper is great but it’s a bit tedious doing the ramps and tailboard off or if mesh sides on etc plant trailer so much better for that and moving 3 ton. It’s hard to have 1 do them all good to have a collection of trailers.

I’ll be after a 12x6 soon I think my Bateson getting ready to be changed and don’t need extra width snd length now I sold my 3 ton tracked dumper

No real benefit of it over just a standard tipper is there!?
Hence the one trick pony comment!
The one I was looking at earlier on a FB video had auto lifting tailgate.
Possible more stable design and also looks more likely to take a smack from an errant bucket than IW sides.
Probably better able to get a full 2.8 ton of top soil into compared to a 6x10 IW tipper?
Plus it looks cool 😎

I happened to see @JD450A commenting on a tidy looking Hookloader trailer the other day, did you get any useful info?

I don’t use my Lm146 beavertail much at the moment as the tipper is currently more useful but as an allrounder being able to move racecars/tractors/diggers and plant it just suits me. The only trailer I’d consider changing it for is a 14ft tilt bed but can’t justify the cost to change!

Your little 2t dumper for going down a footpath?

Sounds like all of those would have fit in a GH1054 🙃
