I think your right. Yes you may be very wealthy if you have large teams, but from what I’ve observed, if you value the quality of your work and job satisfaction, then best stay small and keep a grip on what you do. It’s also a bit easier to weather a storm if your a small firm I think.
There’s a demolition firm locally that’s not done much, if anything since Christmas, laid a lot of staff off apparently. Bigger is not always better.
I think it can go as quick as it comes, 10 carded blokes will cost you the best part of 2k a day easily - few quiet weeks and you’re seriously out of pocket.
