Had to go and rod a section of the land drain today. Not sure what was stopping it but think its where I latched onto the old 3" perf pipe a couple of years ago. Plans changed and that little section of old pipe is now draining a lot of the site. I have done a lot of work further up the line so it might have been some sort of debris. BT Duct Rods cleared it, then little jetter on the petrol washer up and down for good measure. My DIY chamber thats joining 2 sections is running very well. Pipe is about half full and flowing swiftly. I would guess near 100lpm going through that chamber at the moment. I thought it would just be a little trickling land drain, if I had known it would be working so hard I would have done the job properly

is that a poly box in the bottom ?
it's amazing just how much flow a land drain produces .... I can vouch for that here !!

It’s a heavy plastic tub I fished out of a skip in the midlands somewhere back in the summer of 2000. It’s had various jobs over the years but this is its final resting place 🤣

Not time to get near the shed at the moment due to too many other commitments. Did tip some more hardcore today and that’s about it.
I do like having tipping / storage bays.

Got another half day onsite .
Moved mothers stuff out of container and got my plant trailer back IN the container where it belongs for the first time in 12 months.
Borrowed the Kubota from up the road. Rehomed a LOT of frogspawn then cleaned out between my columns and made a temp ditch to take the water away.
I can now get the the columns washed out and grouted and the next load of concrete panels sited.
Rescued the panel I had to abandon when the forklift got stuck. It’s not got any dryer since. Tractor sunk trying as well. Managed to use Kub to drag it out to hard ground, then spent an hour smearing clay around to make it flat again , followed by another hour washing the clay off.
Wash bay is on the list of things to do one day.
Loaded digger. Then I got van stuck on track and took 10k of miles off my clutch trying to sell rescue before I had to go cap in hand to the neighbours (dad) to pull me out with tractor.
Dropped the digger back up at the ex in laws where it’s next to be used, then pretty much raped the last of my clutch getting the trailer up their track.
Oh for a 4WD van with low box and Auto 🫤
Couple hours later and the van still stinks of clutch.

Best advert for a pickup with AT tyres I've seen for a while 😊

You'll have fun getting that handbrake off the trailer!
