Run flat or scuffed along a kerb for 50mile or so. But I'm no tyre expert, just an observation

Pretty sure they are as I went through all the specs when I bought them for the van. Just this one on the near side rear (fwd)

Does look like it doesn’t it! Odd. It’s my personal camper van and I’ve bought the 4 x tyres from new in 2018, do less than 5000 a year, never had a flat tire on any of them and whilst I regularly hit kerbs (and that’s the one that will cop it) it’s not something I do for prolonged periods of time
Van is about 3.2-3.5T so heavy but within load capacity of tyres.

I’ll have to check but whatever MIs state. I was running a TPMS on them last year till it failed.. somewhere north of 50psi from memory

I’ve bought and abused BFG ATs on my disco and Ranger and never had a problem. This is a recent issue and I don’t understand it. As others have said, it looks like it’s been run flat, but I know it hasn’t!

Yea that’s what it looks like. Only ever me and the wife that drive it , and having bought tires from new I know we have NEVER had a flat on the camper.

They do look to have seen a fair bit of kerbing and at 5 years old manufacturer would put the blame on you in any case. Possibly not been ran flat but low pressure which wont have helped.
I'll be honest that tyre looks like it's done a few mile rubbing a kerb full marks for rim protection to BFG

If I was selling tyres and saw those photos I’d be agreeing with you! Time for a new one and I’ll keep this as an emergency spare. I’m sure it’s got lots of miles left in it but doesn’t look good
