My mate has same tyres on his Touareg
singles or twins?Any suggestions for the my rwd transit, got 1 rear needs changing ASAP.
Thinking something more aggressive than standard tyre for when on site and towing trailer
I’ve fitted Michelin cross climate on my Iveco and they are a huge improvement over standard road tyres when off road. Before we would spin on the lightest bit of damp grass or sand. Now for the most part just keep going. My guy got bogged in loose sand the other day, but I put it down to driver error and he was till able to back out.Any suggestions for the my rwd transit, got 1 rear needs changing ASAP.

Depends what you are looking for. There are plenty of good value high milage van tyres out there, but if you want some grip off road you are limited. All season tyres seem to offer a good compromise and have the added advantage of being better in the snow than summer tyres, but you pay a premium for them.Needing tyres on front of van at the mo, from talking to a few different lads Michelins probs do a good wearing all rounder as @Grahams has above albeit at a price. Only problem being they wear well but a lot have had problems with uneven wear (stepped) and had to change them with plenty tread left. Local tyre place runs all vans on Falkens, worth a look at I'm told (I'm waiting for prices back on them).
I wanted the Michelin cross climate tyres on my van in the beginning of the year but couldn't get as apparently tyres were on short supply. The only thing I could get were Yokohama all weather, been ok but I've never been a fan of Yoko's as think they can be a bit softAny suggestions for the my rwd transit, got 1 rear needs changing ASAP.
