Had my first duck up on the ifor ramps in the moon soon rain rushing to get away from hell job dumper just didn’t crest onto trailer applied power abd hood thing went sideways and ramp jumped out, lucky it didn’t roll.

Managed to hook 3 ton swivel dumper to it and use swivel to back it off enough to get it down then have another go while not raining.
Those ally ramps are like ice when wet.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
tin of Evostick, paint brush, liberal application of said sticky tish and a bag of course shot blast grit .. pour it on - then off 24hrs later .... makes an awesomely grippy surface on ramps, just don't trip and fall on it ;)

When I bought my big alloy ramps I'd speced them with kerbs, well worth it. When you slide on them it makes the difference My 8ft ones don't have kerbs but I'd still use my 8ft Ali ramps over my 8ft steel ones.

Found on the beach in Wales while on holiday.

Bounces well and looks like a rugby ball on a string.

If swung on the string over the shoulder it bounces back really well.

Like a rugby ball it can bounce unpredictably...... unlike a rugby ball it has a very hard nobbly end.

Anybody else finding one and feeling the temptation to swing it on its string it would probably be best to switch to summer season and wear a cricket box 😵‍💫🤣

For those without Facebook Scottish accents
inevitable ...... when you're not straight on to the trailer and drop the clutch like a learner on their first lesson .... it's gonna go sideways  tossers
