I just bought the better half a self charging hybrid RAV4. For a family car slash mum mobile it's is insane. Lower spec so front wheel drive if you floor it the torque steer is ridiculous. 203hp plus whatever the electric motor gives you on acceleration.

Yes sir icon car , now a classic even in classic insurance 🤣
I did a bit of work at a Jeep/Honda dealership in Maidstone in the early 2000s and the owners had a pair of those tucked away as an investment.
Mega cars - there was an exhaust firm (Janspeed possibly) who worked their magic and released something ridiculous like another 100bhp just from a better flowing exhaust.
Please video it at full-chat!

Yes it has an exhaust manifold back, it is pretty special one of 360 2002 final edition . I found out it was bought for 40k in 2017. I got it in auction for about double that….. since they stopped making them in 2018 they have rocketed. It’s something special to drive the noise specifically off throttle is mega . The drive is tough , clutch pedal is long the driving position is mental as your legs point left the gearbox is nice and the engine is to die for it drives like a turbo car very effortless at any rpm , 8 litre v10 will do that . It doesn’t sound that great before 2.5 ish k rpm

However if you remember it’s 23 years old and what was about back then you realise it’s golden era for cars . Plan to keep her for a good while

That Aston is just stunning, They had a DB5 at the NEC classic car show last year that was on the same production line just a few cars behind the actual James Bond Car how cool is that. The car was just stunning when you consider how old they are now and the panel work involved, You can appreciate that they were absolute craftsmen that built those iconic cars.

When I got the manifolds I actually thought of you, Your welding skills never cease to amaze me some of the jobs that you do are amazing. I wish that I could do just a fraction of your standard of work, There is something about the noise of welding when it is being done properly, My friend is a boat builder and when I get him over to do jobs for me it is like music hearing the buzz and the end result is almost art !

My mates father in-law rebuilds those astons, not too sure on the versions but they did one last year that looked similar, full ground up rebuild, was running the engine in, when he dropped by so he has his own seat that he uses fitted as the interior was being redone at the time
