calling all you petrol heads .. WTF is this?
knob blocked Pam in, in a car park recently ..
she loved the look of it, but'd've been better admired if it'd been parked properly in a space, instead of across her bows ...:mad::ROFLMAO:

Porsche 718 Spyder Rs
thanks Matt ... can no longer keep up with most manufacturers incessant 'new model' roll out

and whilst we're 'here' what gives with the Nissan epower stuff " Fuelled by petrol, driven by electric " .... sort of negates the whole principle of electric cars ... still needs petrol to get anywhere and there are bound to be 'energy losses' in comparison to a conventional petrol/direct transmission propulsion system .... really can not see the point, other than never running out of lectrickery

The 718 is the replacement/continuation for the boxster Graham, as for the petrol hybrid stuff, I like the idea, even more so on the truck/larger machinery side of things, there is a guy in Canada that has made his own start up company to build an " electric" truck, its got battery's and electric drive motors etc but uses a CAT diesel engine to run a generator unit, but because its a generator unit it runs at very low revs and constantly so not using anywhere near as much fuel or creating as much emissions as is required to power the truck under just diesel power.
The whole story is he really liked the idea of an electric truck so put his name down for the Tesla truck but with the continuous set backs and delays decided to see if he could make his own..... www.edisonmotors.ca his tiktoc channel is quite good with lots of information as it's progressed from an idea to actual working product.

thought it had a bit of a boxster look to it
can well see the sense in the trucks and decent space to mount everything ... must all take some shoehorning into a car though
