The poxy things you refused to buy new for that creation then go a blow a couple of bags on set of tracks!
I know what your saying but I didn’t want to spend any money on it just in case it was a lemon😩 plus I do like a challenge 😂 and as V8 said a lump of scrap if it doesn’t move, used it for a day on one track😳 to level stone for a concreting job but was hard work🥺

these are the originators of the Kepp stuff in the UK Mog .... the Bushnell Bro.s - Hugh and Julian ... have had a lot of gear off them over the years .. nice guys to deal with - for Mormons - if you want any bits - or belts .. 60 or 80 grit're the boys for removing it ... you need another one now for half worn belts for 'less aggressive' grinding :giggle::giggle: ...... they're awesome tools

under the belt on the flat platen is a graphite impregnated pad .. they do tend to deteriorate :( - cheap enough to replace and easy enough to do

Only one solution...... Mogit
sadly if he Mogs it he will break it ..
Old FJ Ewdwards gear like that is only designed to have the effort exerted on it by the way it was made for originally ... and a large pair of arms to make it happen

was one of them on FB market place a few months ago .. Identical machine

What could go wrong adding a little hydraulic to it 😲

You doubt it's mogability
they're fragile things, abused Rory ... they had a designed inertia/energy input .. exceed it and things tend to go south with a bang

Well I sold it in the end would of been sad to it explode😳

managed to patch it up with a heat gun and a bit of 5 gallon drum
