Have you seen the trucks without rear view mirrors yet paul?
I passed a few last week, all Mercs iirc? They look bloody weird!

Im sure the cameras are very good, but why can’t they be used in conjunction with mirrors? I’m sure they still have a kerb mirror on the N/S?
what happens if the system goes wrong? Your f***ed basically. And I wonder how they deal with night time ? I’ve used cameras on machines at night, and while the image is passable, the glare off the screens can be quite harsh, so I wonder how they have overcome that problem?

Is that a Bluetooth camera kit Mog? Fitted one last week to our lorry and low loader trailer, really surprised at the picture quality. Durite system was only £220 or so not bad price wise, was cheaper brands to go for but durite has a good name don’t mind paying for quality.

then this fits into it

and this is the pin that the cable pulley spins on

note the grease nipple compete with a hole for the grease to find the pulley😂😂

me too ...... must be decent to be in Mog's workshop though ;)
Fairly invested in the dewalt kit now, love the flexvolt stuff the grinder especially. Been using my £8 air die grinder for some time now and its been stalling on me with circle carbide burrs especially.

Shouldn’t stall. Die grinding is about high speed and little feed (pressure)

I was finding with the circle burr it would just bounce all over the place and started to break teeth if i didn't press hard
