well that's cool ... explains why I couldn't see it .. does it not make it unstable, loading to one side?

Not really any different to the normal way of doing side shift and the machine is 8ft wide so any stability lost by being a three wheeler is more than made up for. Lorry mounted forklifts are a completely different kettle of fish to a conventional one and both have their advantages and disadvantages beyond the ability to hang off the back of a lorry.

2005 Manitou TMT 315S mounted Telehandler. 2.5t Lister petter 4 cylinder engine Starts, runs and operates as it should.
Couple of minor hydraulic leaks It's been in daily use up until now Serviced twice a year Majority of hydraulic pipes have been replaced in the last 5 years (including, most recently, the ones inside the boom)
New tyre on the steer wheel Hydraulic "diff lock" works Hours unknown 3rd service available at the spool. (Pipes removed and capped)
The bodywork and paint job is the only thing that lets it down.
Would make an ideal yard based machine or a back up. Far more versatile than a masted moffett/mounted forklift what with it being telescopic.

VAT to be applied to the sale price

Bit poor on spec. Looks to be 1wd and no stabilisers. Waste of money as a 1wd. The advantages of a midget type machine are mainly centred around their off-road ability and the better maneuverability around certain obstacles especially if they have pivoting front wheels
