Mine is 1470kg from memory (with full back weights)
Easiest thing to do is go to look at it with a full bulk bag on the back of your truck, that’s what I did. They always come with pallet forks.

Be ok in a flat yard but around site I'd say a bit small. Great for tree work thoughnot big enough according to Doobin though

Spoken to my the local dealer, who now do avants. When he's back off holiday I can go up to see/play with them.
I've also had an alternative offered which again I've got to go have a play with.

I’m not surprised they are appearing on flebay. There were loads of them at Euro’s last sale. I’ve often seen an item at Euro and then seen it appear on eBay a week or two later with a 50% mark up.see someone else flogging these on FB MP today

I'm looking at an avant 640 over the weekend.
I've never had anything to do with them, so it's all new to me but if I don't look/try I'll not find out.
By all accounts the person I'm going to see hires them out, so hopefully I'll get decent info about them too.

As I said if I don't try I won't know. Got to start somewhere in the search. I can't totally dismiss anything without physically trying it myself and the fella in question is happy for me to do so and I've been honest about what I need from a machine for the jobs lined up.
At least I'll have a feel for it and know what to expect later on when looking at others....currently I've no experience of them bar the question I'd asked here
