Multione or avant. Assuming ground not solid enough for a little forklift. If you were to need to move say objects upto 1t, what would you use?

Which models should I look at?Multione or avant.

Max out your counterweights. There's a few avants on eblag, not too far away, anythings to look at specifically on them? It says a 630 can do 1100kg?
What are they like with bulk bags? Do they travel ok with them? Yours is a multione is it?Max out your counterweights.
Mine is an 8.4 with full counterweights, although a 7.2 will lift the same just less powerful wheel motors and only single speed. What are they like with bulk bags? Do they travel ok with them? Yours is a multione is it?
The main thought for looking into them is that for one of my very good customers always has lots of bulk bags, pallets and great big boulders to get round to the work area. Normally they have us dumpering things round but he's now keen on the take it round in one hit rather than loading a dumper to tip it out. And if it’s another that he's happy to pay extra for then it's a good excuse to look into them and dare say it'd come in elsewhere too.

The avant I'd seen advertised is about that money and says an 1100kg lift, I'd deffo not get anything less in capacity. Been there before. Lol.Mine is an 8.4 with full counterweights, although a 7.2 will lift the same just less powerful wheel motors and only single speed.
It will absolutely boss a bulk bag. Theres no point getting something that ‘can lift 850kgs’- it won’t do that with the forks up high through the loops and with the bag swinging about. I can boom out all the way with a bulk bag no drama.
It’ll max out at around 1400kgs so packs of blocks etc are just about doable too.
A secondhand 7.2 is usually around 16-18k which is about as cheap as you will get this kind of capacity.
Not sure of equivalent avant but I found when comparing specs that Multione lifted a lot more for the money and having run this for four years I’ve found the claimed capacity to be accurate.
Any pictures? If there is a lot of bulk bags to handle then the proper bulk bag handler would be a really good tool. Keeps weight lower and stops it swinging around on uneven ground

Looks quite a small 1 wonder what's in the bagWhat model is is?
630What model is is?
The rated lift is normally at the headstock, so real world lift, especially on forks is a lot less. The avant I'd seen advertised is about that money and says an 1100kg lift, I'd deffo not get anything less in capacity. Been there before. Lol.
100% agree. Brings the centre of mass much further in, keeps centre of gravity lower and stops the bag swinging on uneven ground. A no brainer in my opinion. If there is a lot of bulk bags to handle then the proper bulk bag handler would be a really good tool. Keeps weight lower and stops it swinging around on uneven ground

That machine in the video is a 6.3, which has just over 1100kg of lift capacity. You can see it's struggling with that bag even with the dedicated bag lifter and rear counterweights- back wheel lifts more than once.Log into Facebook

No, if it can't lift a bulk bag and comfortabley transport it then I'd not be interested as it defeats the exact reason for me getting one. That machine in the video is a 6.3, which has just over 1100kg of lift capacity. I tried both the 6.3 and the 8.4 together at a local tree nursery before buying, and as soon as I sat on the 8.4 I knew I had to spend the extra. I took a bulk bag to try on both (with forks) and the 6.3 was no good.
I'm not saying that avant you're looking at won't 'lift' a bulk bag, with a dedicated bag lifter, but you'll soon wish you'd spent more or waited for a 7.2 to come up at the same money IMHO.
