Gradability is apparently 30 degrees, but no idea on what angles before it goes over, generally whatever the blade will level you out to
It’s the same engine as the e19 if it helps.Gradability is apparently 30 degrees
Tbh I'm not sure what they mean by gradability, would think that's quite a fair angle cross tracksIt’s the same engine as the e19 if it helps.
Gradability is in the doosan dx10z brochure, 15 degree loading is in the manualI tend to use this calculator https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/slope-degrees-gradient-grade-d_1562.html
Sadly I have always been a worrier about seizing engines, the 3C / 3CX was max up or down 1 in 3 for any length of time
We have a road in the valley which I make 1 in 4 & I drive up this in my van! it is a public blacktopped road! No good when wet & leaves are down!
Is there an online site saying 30 deg grade & 15 deg unloading Brendan? Just could not find anything. Remember a BTD6 blade in '69 grading topsoil on a slope of 1 in 2.5 by my measure later, it had been roughly spread first by dragline. It always pointed uphill. Slope onl y sustains because underneath is hardcore of demolished former buildings, with buried walls broke off & left in place like underground flying buttresses
PS thanks for the tip re black Moly grease, you say not on the slew ring I take it you carry two grease guns, one for pins, one for slew ring if I understood correctly
yeh good strong toolsEver given any consideration to Hanix machines? Good little diggers, very underrated and quite reasonable 2nd hand![]()
Many years ago I almost bought a bobcat 316, they were a hanix hb08 in bobcat stickers.Ever given any consideration to Hanix machines? Good little diggers, very underrated and quite reasonable 2nd hand![]()
After that model they brought a micro out with servos on.View attachment 58334
I had this Hanix micro for a while. It seemingly had a hard life with its previous owners but did everything I asked of it. I replaced the king post and bushes along with general tidying, certainly beats a shovel!
The trencher and the grader look well worn in that photo!View attachment 58334

looks pretty excitingI buried a cable on this banking that felt a lot steeper than it looked on these pics, had arm down in front of me all the way and foot on boom going doing lol
How are you getting on with the dx10? Is the blade/track still on a lever on yoursI buried a cable on this banking that felt a lot steeper than it looked on these pics, had arm down in front of me all the way and foot on boom going doing lol
The electric changeover switch was an option depending upon how the dealer specced it. Mainly (only?) bobcat, doosan always seemed to be poverty spec. How are you getting on with the dx10? Is the blade/track still on a lever on yours
Cooler/demo kit was standard on the doosan. The electric changeover switch was an option depending upon how the dealer specced it. Mainly (only?) bobcat, doosan always seemed to be poverty spec.
I can’t recall what they called it, but the higher spec models had that switch and an oil cooler for breaker. Electronic keypad immobiliser also an option.
