Micro/mini diggers

Like many, I am looking for a mini or micro digger for around £5k, just for some general landscaping and drainage work around our property.
Most well known brands come in a bit over budget. But I have found a Mistubishi 1/2 ton micro digger (MM05).
I've also noticed a number of almost new JPC 1.2ton (koop diesel engine) machines within budget.
So far, I have zero experience with these machines, but keen to learn.
My gut tells me I'm better off with the older, Japanese quality machine than the newer Chinese ones.
Or are these cheap new ones worth a try?
Bearing in mind that I plan on keeping it and possibly even hire it out to the odd local that needs a wee job done.

Hiring out can be a nightmare, unless you do not care what condition your machine comes back in, so unless your good with spanners or know someone who can repair them on the cheap, hiring can bring misery plus standard plant insurance wont cover hiring out
Some of the cheap chinese machines might have "mainstream pumps" but will lack features and be rough in design and operating
If you can raise the budget and go for the e10 above, otherwise it may just be less hassle to hire in the correct machine that you need as and when

Prices are all crazy from what I'm seeing.
I'm not at all experienced, but I reckon that old JCB will outlast and out perform any of these newer Chinese units for similar money.

I have actually managed to secure a 2014 JCB 8010. 2 owners and 600ish hrs. £5000.
If I'm fussy, it needs a seat, and a pin by the bucket (No.9 ?).
Seems like a bargain to me.

8010 are a proper micro digger.

Bushes are easy to change.

So, after all that, the seller of the JCB took my £500 deposit and sold the digger to someone else (can only assume they offered over asking price). I have finally got my deposit back. The mini digger market really is ruthless and full of scams isn't it.
Anyway, back to looking.
Catlowdy Carriages still have a couple of honest machines (Mistubishi, and a Komatsu 3/4 ton), for £5000ish by the time vat is added. The komatsu has a bit of play in that big pin where the arm meets the machine (king post?). Worth worrying about? Is that a big job to repair?
The Mitsubishi is about £500 more, but has expanding tracks and half the hours on it.
Have also just seen a Powerfab on ebay. Any thoughts on Powerfab? It has a petrol jcb engine, new tracks. Going for £3500. Why so cheap?

because they are ancient home build kit things. Look elsewhere.

JCB don’t make petrol engines. Will be a rebadged Chinese thing fitted as a replacement.
