Over the years we have gone from axe & chainsaw, Chainsaw & hydraulic splitter, PTO saw & hyd splitter, Road tow self powered processor & over the last lock down I built a processing unit that is all mounted on a trailer with engine, log grab, deck & processor.

We still use this hyd splitter powered from the processor or a stand alone power unit.

would love to see some more pix of your trailer mounted unit ... looks the Mutt's ..... like the log lifter arms on the smaller processor ... very clever motion

Quite like the look of this, with one side table extension.. only thing I’m not so keen on with any of these splitters is the unguarded hydraulic hoses, wouldn’t fancy having one of them blow off in your face! Had afew blow into the cab before and it’s not overly tasty!

It looks like it`s got burst sleeves on the hoses.

Yea the sleeve over the hose is burst sleeve means if one does burst you don't get the full force of the oil

think mine is better made, more substantial and 750 quid plus £60 to get it here IIRC IMHDO it will take some beating .... and I looked around - a LOT

If you do go for it I’d suggest getting both tables - you can’t have too much room around the splitter. The hardest part of the job is getting the rings on the table - running out of room and sending bits back to the floor to be picked up again is making work for the sake of it.

I had an oxdale that I ran off my digger for a while. Worked pretty well- the ram shot out like a bullock.
