do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
very interesting - hope the 30 deg.s will suffice and dare say you'll become used to it ... the ram set up on those is indeed VERY compact ... will be really interested to see the gripper design ... hope it serves you well and produces the same reliability Kins have built a reputation on - no doubting their stuff is top notch - but expensive - get what you pay for though (y)

I've decided to go for it. TR025 has been ordered.

I've got direct mount, df06 t/e (6 pipe, tilt sharing with extra function), I've been given the opportunity to buy a, yet to be released, integrated gripper for it at a heavily discounted rate (£3k off anticipated rrp) in return for feedback, which I have gone for.

It's s30 - 180 lower coupler, and I've got 3 RF system buckets with it, a cable bucket, a digging bucket and grading bucket. They weren't cheap, but they're made from hb400 and hb500 for the cutting edge, they are light, and I figure the geometry is optimal.

Thought it was an interesting offering beyond the usual steelwrist/engcon/rototilt. I like the look of some of the other kinshofer products, it all looks like very high quality stuff, particularly the grabs - hopefully it'll be the case with the tilty.

Kinshofer UK HQ is just up the road from me in Cheltenham, and I've heard back up from Kinshofer is good.

All in the bill is £13.3k + VAT, due to be fitted late June. So far I can't fault the service from Kinshofer, they have been responsive and answered all my questions when I've asked them.

I do have concerns about 30° tilt, but in my line of work I think I can tolerate this limitation. I also accept that direct mount is a compromise, but with the lack of protruding cylinders I reason that it'll mitigate some of the drawbacks, I'll also save on weight, cost and build height.

With almost no user feedback, it's a gamble, I'll certainly keep everyone updated with my honest thoughts about the unit 😀
That seems a good price, but interested to see show it works out for you, I never got any prices when I was enquiring they only do direct mount so wouldn't quote, be interesting to see how the gripper pans out as no one else does one for that size
