Id it just me but that Kinshofer looks a real lump on the end of that Cat. It may not weigh much but sure looks bulky to me...

I'm very tempted by it... looks like it'll be a good choice for direct mount, which has its advantages - weight, build height and simplicity. Like you say furniss, the 30° tilt is less than the 40° you would get on other units. Do you think it's a deal breaker? Have never owned or spent any significant time on a tilty equipped machine

yes i think if your comparing it to 45° of engcon you will have to get that extra tilt with rotation and curl many a time, in fact lots of instances i could imagine it being harder, doable but trickier, i mean still amazing addition but when 45° is available im not sure.
there are others more experienced than me to chime in ...the likes of gunners etc

Chased them up to day still awaiting a price as they need to find out if can be done with S30 180 top, seems like it might be direct mount only which is as useful as tits on a bull

To be fair the 30 degree tilt isn't much of a problem if you can't even get a price for itdeffo with std tilty buckets hung on it

To be fair I'm window shopping but still at some point the sticker going to the be the right price. But from the sounds of it I seem to be asking for something unique? I thought all the tilty companies had all adopted the s standard so seems odd that a S30 180 pickup is such an awkward proposition, still haven't had an answer as to whether it has a rotation sensor

I think being German ( I think anyway) S30-180 might not be an option there. They probably have a difference type.
