What is going on here then. 5cx wastemaster on tree duties. Hellava long jacks? Is that a tilty/gripper or a tree shear/saw on there? Cant see in photos.

It's waste master spec by the looks of it. Usually has a quick coupler on the front to attach front jack legs, can then lift up over ro-ro bins at council tips

Wonder why it’s not got the bucket on as well. Maybe it’s more stable to keep front end on ground if you are grabbing hold of overly heavy lumps of tree. Must be easy to overload the back actor on that job .

IMHO idea is sound, you can shunt bins with the front end, jack up to see what your doing and pick bins.
Reality is they are used primarily to beat the s**t out of skips.
I do like the long legs on the gimmickmaster

That's Kris Bartle's machine. He's been flat out with tree crews clearing up down in Cornwall since that storm last week. Full engcon dual drive setup - but could do with a grab really for that kind of work. Think they are using what they have as its caught them all a bit off guard.
Ideal machine the backhoe for running around to different locations clearing windfall, unblocking ditches etc. They still have a place I tell ya!
