" COLLECTION OF A CAR IN FRONT OF THE ASSOCIATION'S CLOAKROOM ]
Wednesday, October 15, 2025 - During the "Carcasses" operation of the Faa'a town hall on the heights of Puurai for the removal of 18 abandoned vehicles but identified to be removed as is the case for one of the cars in front of the "Fare Hotu" solidarity house and the cloakroom, one of the association's establishments. At least it will make it possible to deliver space for the car park. And to illustrate this withdrawal, we offer you a short video that was produced by our vice-president, Billy Pan-si "

A duck and forks'd've been quicker :giggle::LOL::ROFLMAO:

Would a duck have the right geometry to get 1200kg up over the high side of a wagon in that space ? Maybe if a tab boom and a kingpost to get the offset ?

A well spec'd duck with TAB boom etc is 50% more money than a backhoe. And assuming this guy's driven to the job, he will be there faster than most ducks and the way he's going about it with grabbing them in the 4in1 - he's gonna be heading home before a ducks got his lifting strops out:LOL:
There's always another machine that will do the job, but not always as cost effective

I will guarantee I'd've beaten him hands down on the loading with the 'Drema ;)
run up the one lane picking at reach, up and pull forward over the truck and pop 'em in ... truck moves forward and pick up the next and repeat(y)

No doubt, your hydrema is a very capable machine. But whats your road speed. And what does it cost new to compare?

Had a set of forks on mine. No lifting strips required!!

Think my backhoe will lift 1t at full stretch, with slightly more useable reach than the Hydrema which surprises me. You loose 2m to the front of the legs, backhoe reach starts behind the legs! Does something like 3.5t close up, although with the geometry of a backhoe, you cant lift the arm very high close to you so its not really achievable physically. But for a sub 10t machine, I'd say it lifts the same if not slightly more than a tracked equivalent.
Over the side is a completely different ballgame and to be honest, I think the load chart in the cab is very optimistic with what it states and what's actually possible  Whereas a track machine or duck for that matter, whilst reduced side on, will be better than a backhoe id think, especially at reach.

4m rad, 7m in the air - over the side FOW 4.6t .. be more than enough to get you into the centre of the truck and over its side boards :giggle::giggle:
5m rad, 2m in the air - over the side FOW 2.6t - could pick up a Rangey, from the other side of the road
and that's SWL ... loads (pardon the pun) of margin left after that - even if yer's 'teetering' a bit :ROFLMAO:
and could always barely 'kiss' the deck with the blade and a leg ;)
Quack quack ;)

You have lost at least 2 meters of reach though
Your chart is from the centre of the slew ringπŸ€”

correct Mog, but the machine is only 2.5m wide, so only a 1.25m loss and those charts are 85% SWL ...
I'd tackle those motors side on from across the road ......
and piss them ...
you of all ppl'd know just how far it can be pushed without any dramas ;):giggle:
