I’d rather be driving the backhoe back than being in that car with those forks lying unrestrained behind me . What’s that gonna take to drive in BH? Depending on which part of Cornwall, 15-20 hours drive?off his trolley

5-6hour drive to the Tamar River in a car from that area? (Used to have a Girlfriend from them parts). Deep Cornwall can add another 2+ hours car drive. Backhoe got to be 1/3rd car speed maybe?6hrs no problem
10 hours non stop.. add in at least 3 stops to cool the machine down & @Gunners will be about right with the morning traffic tailbacks6hrs no problem

I said I’d put it on a wagon if it was me but I think he’s pretty ‘agri’! Plenty of cans of red bull evident.200+ miles???? On an unknown to him machine on a Sunday night ..
Did a 90mile once.. took 4.5 hrs, had to pull over to let the transmission cool, was boiling out of the dipstickI used to tramp about 30miles but after that it was a loader.
22mph average. In his dreams. But will be a good test of the machine. He will be fully bonded with it by the time he gets home on Tuesday. Nice to see someone young and keen though.I said I’d put it on a wagon if it was me but I think he’s pretty ‘agri’! Plenty of cans of red bull evident.
It’s been fully serviced fifty hours ago so at least I can honestly say every oil and filter is fresh. Up to him after that.
He reckoned it would take him ten hours. Said he was an hour past the Devon border, two hundred and twenty miles I think.
